Every RAPSUAR listing states a real daily output figure in pounds per 24 hours — use that number to size the unit rather than guessing from the case dimensions alone. Based on the real lineup, four rough tiers cover most household and small-business needs:

• Countertop nugget (60-95lbs/24H): a portable, plug-in unit for a single kitchen counter — no permanent plumbing hookup required for most models, though check the specific listing's dual water inlet option. Good if you want chewable ice and don't need it built into cabinetry.
• Compact under counter, under 150lbs/24H: the largest real tier in the lineup, including the 95lbs flagship model — the RAPSUAR ice maker with the deepest review history. Sized for a home kitchen, a small bar, or an office break room where a handful of people are drawing ice regularly, not throwing a large event.
• Mid-size, 150-300lbs/24H: a step up for a busier bar, a small restaurant, or a household that genuinely goes through a lot of ice — see the mid-size models for the real capacity and storage options at this tier.
• High-volume, 300lbs+/24H: built for real commercial demand — restaurants, event venues, or anywhere serving well over 100 drinks a day. The 500lbs GTR369 model is the top of RAPSUAR's real capacity range, with a full-touch LCD screen for managing ice thickness and cleaning cycles.

Storage Bin Size Matters as Much as Daily Output

A high daily-output number doesn't help much if the storage bin is small — the unit still has to be run and emptied more often once the bin fills. Check the storage bin capacity (listed in pounds) alongside the daily output figure; RAPSUAR's own listings show meaningful bin-size differences even between models with similar daily capacity, from a 20lbs bin on the smallest compact model up to a 360lbs bin on the 460lbs high-volume unit.

Installation: Built-In vs. Freestanding

Most of RAPSUAR's under-counter models are built for a permanent under-counter installation, with a water line and drain connection — plan for that plumbing before ordering rather than after. A few listings are explicitly freestanding, which trades permanence for the ability to move or relocate the unit without touching plumbing.
